Salam sayang semua..selamat pagi senin..orang kata hari senin ni monday blues..sebab dah 2 hari kita bercuti..mieza lak sambung EL hari ni sebab anak jantan bongsu mieza yang beusia 7 bulan tu demam kuat..rasa tak sampai hati nak hantar ke umah babysitter...sebab dia asek merengek je...nak orang peluk je selalu...kesian sangat tengok dia...tu baru lepas makan ubat dah tido dalam buai..jadi mieza tak d opp untuk update blog...
Muffin ni mieza bake last week ofis mieza tempah sebanyak 40 biji untuk satu jamuan makan tengahari..memula tu nak wat muffin cekelat tapi belek-belek dalam pantry rupa-rupanya koko van houten dah abis..mieza tamau guna koko lain yang beli timbang kat kedai sebab takut kualiti turun..jadi mieza buat la cekelat cip muffin..
CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFIN
Source: Joy of Baking
Source: Mieza @ WAWMC
1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
2 large eggs
1 cup (240 ml) milk or cream
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups (260 grams) all-purpose flour
2/3 cups (135 grams) granulated white sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (170 grams) milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate chips
Topping:
1 tablespoon (15 grams) granulated white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Position rack in center of oven. Butter, or line with paper liners, 12 - 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 inch muffin cups.
2. In a large measuring cup or bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
3. In another large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
4. Stir in the chocolate chips. With a rubber spatula fold the wet ingredients, along with the melted butter, into the dry ingredients and stir only until the ingredients are combined. Do not over mix the batter or tough muffins will result.
5. Evenly fill the muffin cups with the batter, using two spoons or an ice cream scoop.
6. In a small bowl combine the topping ingredients and then sprinkle a little topping on each muffin.
7. Place in the oven and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean, about 18 - 20 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool for about 5 minutes before removing from pan.
Makes 12 regular sized muffins.
