Cinnamon Roll

Memula encik suami kata hari ni kena kerja...malas pula nak bangun awal pagi untuk masak sebab semalam kepenatan sangat seharian di Ipoh menghadiri kenduri kawin adik sahabat baik...tido malam krohhh krohhhh sungguh enak sekali..bila jam menunjukkan pukul 6 pagi menunjukkan sudah tiba waktu solat subuh, rasa sungguh sayang nak tinggalkan selimut..apatah lagi hari ni hari Ahad...selepas solat subuh mieza tanya suami "Hari ni u kena kerjakan? Kita bekpes kat kedai mamak leh tak? Ngantukkkk" hehheehe..buat suara manja-manja sikit si suami mesti cair punya ahakssss..dia angguk dan kami kembali ZzzzzZZZZ di tilam empuk...

Balik dari breakfast dan membeli sedikit keperluan dapur di pasar, terus mieza adun bun ni..ini pun sebab suami dah berhari-hari merengek nak makan cinnamon roll...masa di kedai mamak tadi terus mieza bungkus nasi goreng sebab suami tak ada hari ni malas pula mieza nak masak nasi...fikir mieza suami tentu seronok dapat makan bun ni bila balik kerja nanti..


Semasa merehatkan adunan bun, suami dapat call, katanya tak jadi kerja minggu ni..tunda gi minggu ni..alahai sayang, I dah malas masak tau..kita makan bun ni je la ye..hehehe boleh gitu? Nasib baik la dapat suami yang tak banyak songeh..dia lunch dengan nasi goreng yang mieza bungkus dan kemudian dia bedal 6 biji bun ni...tak per lah sayang, janji awak kenyang..

Pertama kali mieza makan cinnamon roll ialah di Cinnabon Downtown Milwaukee masa mieza belajar kat USA dulu...kawan mieza yang bernama Madek yang introducekan..first time makan mieza terus jatuh cinta.. ini lah hidangan feveret mieza bersama ice latte...dan di Cinnabon Downtown Milwaukee itulah juga menjadi tempat dating mieza dan suami waktu kami tengah bercinta dulu ahakssss


CINNAMON ROLL

Bahan-bahan ( 30 biji saiz kecil )

Untuk doh:
3/4 cwn susu segar
1/4 cwn mentega, suhu bilik
3 1/4 cwn tepung serbaguna/gandum
1 sudu kecil yis segera (Mauripan)
1/4 cwn gula halus
1/2 sudu kecil garam halus
1/4 cwn air
1 biji telur

Untuk filling:
1 cwn gula perang
1 sudu besar serbuk kulit kayu manis
1/4 cwn majerin, suhu bilik
1/2 cwn kismis (optional)
1/2 cawan walnut panggang dicincang (optional)


Untuk frosting:
50g cream cheese - suhu bilik
20g butter - suhu bilik
80g gula aising
secubit garam
beberapa titik vanila esen




Cara-cara:

1. Panaskan susu hingga sedikit mendidih, tutup api dan masukkan majerin. Kacau sebati. Biarkan sejuk.
2. Dalam mangkuk besar, satukan 2 1/4 cwn tepung, yis, gula & garam. Kacau sebati.
3. Tambahkan pula air, telur & campuran susu; pukul rata. Masukkan baki tepung, 1/2 cwn demi 1/2 cwn, kacau sebati. Tambahkan sedikit tepung jika adunan terlalu lembik.
4. Bulatkan doh. Taburkan sedikit tepung di bawah doh & di atas doh. Uli selama 5 minit, atau hingga doh kelihatan licin. Tabur sedikit tepung jika doh sangat melekit. Jika menggunakan mixer electrik, putar adunan dengan speed 2 @ 3 hingga sebati dan tidak melekat ditangan.
5. Tutup doh dgn kain lembab selama 20-30 minit. Sementara itu, campurkan bahan-bahan bertanda filling. Gaul rata.
6. Leperkan doh jadi bentuk segiempat, anggaran 12 inci x 9 inci. Sapu rata campuran kulit kayu manis tadi dan taburkan kismis dan walnut.
7. Gulung doh, cubit-cubit tepinya supaya kemas melekat. Potong kepada 12 bahagian (mieza dapat 30 biji saiz kecil). Susun dlm acuan yg telah disapu sedikit majerin, jarakkan sedikit. Tutup keratan doh dgn kain lembab semula, selama 30 - 40 minit.
8. Panaskan oven dgn suhu 180'C atau 170'C fan assisted. Bakar cinnamon rolls selama 15 minit atau hingga keperangan.
9. Sementara itu sediakan aisingnya. Masukkan semua bahan-bahan untuk aising ke dalam mangkuk. Pukul sehingga jadi bentuk krim.
10. Bila roti dan masak( ketika masih panas), letaklah aising 1-1/2 sudu besar ke atas setiap roti. Jangan letak terlampau banyak aising. Aising yg banyak boleh menghilangkan kesedapan rasa roti. Hidangkan suam-suam.

***Mieza masukkan krim cheese di dalam piping bag yang dipotong sedikit hujungnya. Picitkan ke atas bun.

    Mieza..cinnamon roll ni mengingatkan kak amie kuih cempiang tau... memang rupa CR tu sebiji kuih cempiag, tak tahulah di sana ada ke tidak, tapi di sini kuih cempiang ada dimana-mana, cuma kak amie aje yang tak pandai buat!
