Kek Gula Hangus


This is my mom's favorite cake. She can finish the whole cake in an hour or so (u gotta believe me about this, coz i dont lie). Sometimes i baked this cake just for her, coz i enjoyed watching her eating my cooking. Well what else can i give her besides my cooking, i dont have THAT much money to give her all the luxury for her to savor during her late age, i cant give her big house to live in, but yessss, i can make her delicious food (as delicious as i could be able to provide laaa) to stuff her old belly i guess. Heheh i am just trying to be a grateful daughter. Besides, old proverb alwiz said, you can have many many same things in world, many same dresses, many same cars, many same houses, many same handphones, but only one mother in the whole wide world. I'd like to say that i 100% agree with that proverb coz i AM a mother...


KEK GULA HANGUS

3/4 cawan tepung gandum
5 biji telur
1 cawan gula pasir - jadikan gula hangus
1 1/4 cawan air - untuk jadikan gula hangus
1/4 tin susu pekat
1 camt soda bicarbonat
1 camt vanilla
2 camb margerin/butter
3 camb milo
secubit garam

Cara-caranya:

1. Tepung gandum, garam dan soda bicarbonat diayak bersama-sama.

2. Butter dan susu dipukul hingga sebati dan kembang.

3. Masukkan telur satu persatu dan dipukul lagi. Masukkan tepung gandum, gula hangus, vanilla dan milo. Pukul lagi sehingga sebati.

4. Tuangkan adunan kek ke dalam bekas kek gula hangus yang telah disapu butter. Acuan kek ni boleh dibeli di pekan-pekan. Aku beli kat Rantau Panjang. Murah je harganya tak sampai RM20 masa tu la. Acuannyer ada lubang kat tengah.

5. Tutup acuan rapat-rapat dan dibakar di atas dapur gas dengan menggunakan api yang paling kecil selama lebih kurang selama 30 minit. Harus diingat, jangan sekali-kali dibuka tutupnya sebelum ia cukup masak, nanti bantat. Cara nak cek kek dah masak ke belum ialah dengan cara mencucuk adunan dengan lidi melalui lubang kecil yang memang terdapat di acuan tu.
