Spaghetti Bolognese



This morning I received a phone call from my sis-in-law telling that they would be dropping by my house on their way from Alor Setar to Putrajaya. First ingat nak beli satay je for them, but then rasa nak makan spagthetti la pulak. Selak-selak dalam almari semua ingredients cukup, except that mintak hubby drop by TF beli ground beef. There, siap. Tapi hubby banyak tolong kat dapur, sekejap je, less than 1 hour dah siap boleh makan. Some suka buat sauce sendiri, actually that's much much better. If only i have the luxury of having lots of time, I'd rather making my own style of spag sauce. But i reached home at 5.30pm everyday, I have two girls to look after, my weekends are fully booked, plus, I have an exam this week, and those had forced me to go for Prego heheheh (what an excuse eh?) SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE

1 paket spaghetti (I chose San Remo)
2 camb butter
3 ulas bawang putih - cincang
2 biji bawang besar - cincang
1 paket ground beef - aku pakai Ramly (those who have a food processor at home leh buat sendiri je ni)
3 tin sos spaghetti Prego (1 tin = 300gm)
3 biji buah tomato - potong dadu
1 batang carrot - potong dadu
1 tin cendawan butang - slice
2 batang celery - hiris kecil
1/2 camt oregano
1/2 camt italian herbs
Parmesan cheese
chilly flakes
Minyak zaitun untuk menumis

Cara-cara:

1. Didihkan 2 liter air dan rebus spaghetti dengan dicampur dengan 2 camt garam, 1/2 camt oregano leaves dan 2 camb mentega. Sentiasa kacau-kacau supaya spag tak melekat antara satu dengan yang lain. Rebus sampai empuk, angkat dan toskan dan di gaul sedikit butter.

2. Dalam periuk yang besar (sebab nak masak kuah) panaskan minyak zaitun dan tumiskan bawang putih dan besar hingga wangi dan kekuningan.

3.Masukkan ground beef, biarkan daging masak dan kekuningan sambil diketuk-ketuk supaya daging tak berketul dan seragam bentuknya.

4. Masukkan pula carrot, celery dan cendawan dan masak hingga sayur lembut.

5. Masukkan sos dan tomato dan ditambah sedikit air mengikut kepekatan yang disukai. Selalunya aku taruk 2 1/2 tin air (tin sos spag), yang ini boleh adjust ikut selera masing-masing. Aku suka kalau tomato buah tu tak hancur, biar nampak bentuk dadunya. Bila makan terasa kesegaran buah tomato, mmmm Yummmy!

6. Masukkan herba, garam dan gula to taste. Yang ni pun ikut selera.

7. Semasa menghidangkan taburkan parmesan cheese.

Makan spaghetti bolognese ni aku suka pedas, tapi aku tak boleh letak cili api dalam sos time masak sebab nanti the girls tak makan, so aku sediakan chilly flakes sekali. Walaupun resepi ni resepi orang Itali, tak letak cili api, tapi kalau melayu tu melayu jugak, tak lari dari cili api. Baru la terangkat Beb!
